It is really much faster now :-) In my case I run version 3.1.0.0. on Ubuntu Desktop 16.10. My problem is that everything works fine except when I activate the "collections view". (I enclose a picture of where that is in the setup) When I activate that and go into the collection folder my server hangs (freeze). As soon as I open the collection map pictures freezes and I get no pictures or a few pictures. When I try to click on a collection nothing happens. I have tried from several different computers external and internal network. And I have used different browsers. Goole Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Sometimes I can navigate to different pages but they are all frozen. Whatever I try to click gives no action. And sometimes I can not navigate at all after the freeze. If I deselect the collection view everything works just fine. The option "group movies into collections" also works (on and off). It is just when I activate the "collection view" my server freeze. After a freeze if I restart the server everything works fine again - until I open the collection map. So, for the moment I run the server without collection view. But I would be happy if the collection view could be working again. I like that option verymuch and have several collections. Now I also noticed that my apps like "Ember for Emby" and #Emby Theater" has the same problem. (With or without the Moive Collection activated) My Kodi installations are however working just fine. I think I need to try a clean installation of both Ubuntu and Ember Server. If I save my backup - will it remember what movies and episodes I have seen/watched? After deinstalling the plugin and restarting the server the error persists. I think the plugin blew up my collections. Can I reset all collections and let the plugin start over? After deinstalling that everything is running smooth. But I want to delete all collections. I would do it manually, but I'm not sure how. When I try to delete a collection I get the message, that it will delete the movie file (singular). Is that just a generic popup and it just deletes the collection in the frontend or does it delete the movie files for real? I had all my collections manually made, cause I feared to use the plugin. Now the plugin created duplicates. And these I gonna delete. It's a work in progress now! Thanks for the answers. redaktorn 12 Posted December 24, 2016 Author Share Posted December 24, 2016 I can confirm what "pappaq" says. It is the plugin Covert Art that makes the problem with freezing. Something in that plugin seems not compatible with the new speed-improvment in Emby server. I have now made clean install of Ubuntu 16.04 and Emby server 3.1.1.0.
