SynesthesiaBruh 1
So under the "External Domain" field under "Advanced Settings" I entered my ddns server address. I left everything else the same in "Advanced Settings". I bought Emby so I could share my library with my friend without him having to ftp download anymore. I'm assuming as long as he installs the app and logs in, he'll be able to connect to my Emby Server? Or are there further steps I need to take? ebr 14959
You will just need to be sure that the proper port is forwarded through your router to the proper machine (the one where Emby is). We try to do this automatically if your router supports it but not all do. Please see: Connectivity

justdrooit 3
Yeah, if I read this correctly, I've been doing this for a little while with duckdns. Verizon FIOS likes changing their IPs pretty often (about every two weeks), and I initially set up everything without Emby Prime (I have it now though).
