nwcatalyst 4 Posted December 17, 2016 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Hey everyone,I just ordered the ODROID C2 for primary use as an always-on box that will be running Nextcloud and Emby. I plan to install Ubuntu 16.04 and the required software stack for each and nothing more. I will be connecting a 2TB external drive via USB for the storage space and using eMMC for the OS. I am posting to see if anyone has any other recommendations (other/leader OS?) in terms of setup/settings that can optimize this little SoC to handle both services without overloading it. I recognize that transcoding is probably out of the question, but I also wanted to see if it might be possible with the correct settings, even if only 720p that would be fine for my purposes....Has anyone done anything similar?
