jerren 11
So i recently got a bit annoyed by some movies or shows just showing text instead of a cool logo. I went to look at fanart.tv and i saw the show that i was currently looking at had 2 identically named shows, however 1 had images and the other one didn't. A ) has no images https://fanart.tv/series/113561/yu-gi-oh/ B ) has images https://fanart.tv/series/76894/yu-gi-oh/ So i'm looking into how i can link a show or movie to a specific id, i can see that you can put specific criteria in for imdb, themoviedb, thetvdb, tv.com and zap2it. Maybe it's possible to create one for fanart aswell? PS:i'm not sure if i put this in the correct section, was doubting between here and the fanart section tbh ) Edited December 16, 2016 by jerren
Luke 37251
Hi, the reason you don't see one for fanart is because fanart doesn't actually have ID'.s Instead it uses other known ID's such as MovieDb, Tvdb, etc. So you just want to make sure those values are correct. If that still doesn't help, then the best thing to do would be to report the issue to fanart. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
jerren 11
Ah i thought https://fanart.tv/series/ 113561 /yu-gi-oh/ was the ID part and that it would work thanks to that. Checked those before making the post so i'll report it to fanart, thanks for the quick reply! edit: Just heard back from them, seems they are 2 seperate shows one that aired in 98 and one in 2000 to 2004, should have thought about that possibility but atleast i learned this way. Just wanted to post back so nobody else would be dumbfounded by this. Edited December 18, 2016 by jerren
