Hide recordings for user

Hi, I'm new to Emby, so I'm sorry if the answer to this is obvious, but I'd appreciate any input.

 

I've started to look at Emby for the possibility to stream live tv, especially when I'm not at home. I'm currently not using the other features, but that will probably change

 

The question I have, is if it is possible to block my tv recordings from a specific user? I want to have a user that can only watch live tv, but nothing else. I use Mediaportal / MPExtended, and it seems like it imports the tv channels and all recordings by default? I have not created or added any library to Emby.

 

Is it possible to hide all recordings for a specific user (or all users)?

Hi, you can block the entire live tv feature if you want, which would include both live tv and recordings. That's your fastest approach.

 

If that's not suitable then you'd have to use parental controls to accomplish it:
