Hi,

I had to remove mono for some specific reasons and did (stupid.. so yeah i know..) a purge of anything related to mono.

I was able to reinstall mono but now whenever i'm trying to install emby (dev and stable) i get the following error :

sudo apt-get install emby-server-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
emby-server-dev : Depends: libembysqlite3-0 but it is not installable
Depends: embymagick but it is not installable

anyone knows how to solve this?

Thanks!

Thanks.. Well, the first install i was already following the procedure you mention in the download section and it worked flawless.. Now that i did the "sudo apt-get purge mono-complete", i can't seem to follow the same procedure anymore.. Always comes back that emby-server-dev has some unmet dependencies : libembysqlite3-0 and embymagick... But those are for some reason not installable anymore...

ok.. seems to be the same problem as the one mentionned in this post :

 https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/19415-debian/page-10&do=findComment&comment=390662

the reason why i had to reinstall mono was because of a mono update that messed up a couple of things...

What i did to solve it was :

Download embymagick_6.9.6+6-3.1_armhf.deb and libembysqlite3-0_3.15.0+1-6.1_armhf.deb from the ubuntu binaries

and then install with  sudo dpkg -i <deb file>

At least now i'm able to install emby dev :)
