The upgrade to 2.3.6 from the previous stable version (2.2.19) resulted in a change of the playback video quality setting. Emby for Kodi>Settings>Video Playback>Video Quality changed from 100.0 Mbps HD [Default] to 30.Mbps HD I kept mine at the the default 100.0 Mbps but on upgarde it changed to 30.0 Mbps. The main side effect of that for me was low quality audio at the start of a video. Tracked it back to that change. I suspect that there may be other people who's setting has changed and they didn't realize it. I am not sure how you can revert it but I think you should try to remedy it.
