Norin 1
I have installed emby server on my qnap... i have installed also the emby addon on kodi, because i didn't know how to properly configure, i didn't install local library despite being on the same network... when i play from library it appears a popup of emby i don't like it but i don't mind... but the problem is the subtitles it doesn't read special characters... for example á,à,ã,ç,é,è, í,ì,ô, etc... i get my subtitles with a question mark instead of those characters... that is a major coding failure wich i think can be easily fixed, be recognizing those kind of special characters... its not only portuguese words who use them... and it's quite unbelievable that at this point of development no one as mentioned that. It can also be a mistake of mine of configuration. would appreciate some help on this. thanks Edited November 26, 2016 by Norin

Norin 1
Thanks for looking at this. I think you can fix it in a quick task on your code. Probably is already fixed. I expect next release won't take long.
