Kael944 0
Hi all, just updated to 323 on the DS 214+ and with a lot of movies still have a massive lag (not watchable). I use 5Ghz network with a powerful AC router, and it does not come from that as if streamed from the NAS to my computer it works perfectly fine. Seems like for some movies taking off the subtitles it helps a little, but still not watchable. DNLA is deactivated.

Kael944 0
Hi Luke, Apologies, the logs are attached. I used the Android app to launch it and ChromeCast to view it. Settings on the app is auto, but even by putting it to 60Mpbs for both stream and Chromecast was not solving the issue. Chromecast is linked directly to an AV receiver (Denon) so handles full passthrough video and sound. Server-24112016T2329.txt

Kael944 0
Hi Luke, attached are the logs after updating the server. Strange thing is that ffmpeg remains active, taking all available CPU power, but Emby is closed. Seems like also the server transcodes although it should not need to at all. Thanks! rundiags_20161209T095539UTC.log ffmpeg-transcode-20161208.txt
Luke 37063
Chromecast does not support DTS which is why that file needs converting.
Kael944 0
Chromecast does not support DTS which is why that file needs converting. Oh damn... Only solution is to wait for CC to support DTS then. Thanks Luke!
