osak00006 12
I can't seem to get Emby to scrape the Set/Collection or Sort Title from my Kodi NFO files. Is this possible?
Luke 38342
Hi, we sure do scrape We do not currently do anything with the set/collection tags but it is a possibility for the future.
osak00006 12
Hmmm. Sort Title isn't scraping for me. Here's a sample NFO file. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <movie> <plot /> <outline /> <lockdata>true</lockdata> <dateadded>2016-11-15 08:30:26</dateadded> <title>Captain America: The First Avenger - Post-Credits Scene</title> <year>2011</year> <sorttitle>Marvel Cinematic Universe 02</sorttitle> <runtime>0</runtime> <country>USA</country> <isuserfavorite>false</isuserfavorite> <userrating>0</userrating> <playcount>0</playcount> <watched>false</watched> <resume> <position>0</position> <total>29.395</total> </resume> <fileinfo> <streamdetails> <video> <codec>h264</codec> <micodec>h264</micodec> <bitrate>15245517</bitrate> <width>1920</width> <height>1080</height> <aspect>16:9</aspect> <aspectratio>16:9</aspectratio> <framerate>30</framerate> <scantype>progressive</scantype> <default>True</default> <forced>False</forced> <duration>0</duration> <durationinseconds>29</durationinseconds> </video> <audio> <codec>ac3</codec> <micodec>ac3</micodec> <bitrate>320000</bitrate> <language>eng</language> <scantype>progressive</scantype> <channels>6</channels> <samplingrate>44100</samplingrate> <default>True</default> <forced>False</forced> </audio> </streamdetails> </fileinfo> <epbookmark>0.000000</epbookmark> <top250>0</top250> <status></status> <code></code> <aired></aired> </movie> Here's what gets scraped into Emby: And a log file is attached. I just removed the file, cleaned the library, restarted... the log file is from after restart, scanning for new content. server-63615085085.txt
Luke 38342
I'm not entirely clear on the procedure you tried, but the best thing to do is just edit the file and do nothing and allow Emby to pickup the change on it's own. That means either the realtime monitor will see it or the next library scan.

I removed the media, cleaned my library, put the file back... and scanned... no matter how many times I try scanning, it doesn't pick up the Sort Title

Luke 38342
I just tested these exact steps myself, no problem found. Thanks to the realtime monitor, all I had to do was be patient and wait about 60 seconds or so, I did not have to try and attempt any complicated procedures such as the ones discussed above. Mind testing a fake file with the NFO I provided? Not sure why it isn't working for ANY on my system. I have 35 custom Sort Titles in my Marvel collection... Or any suggestions for how I can fix? I've tried letting the content picked up automagically, but no luck I'm running the latest stable for Unraid (Version 3.0.8500.0) Edited November 18, 2016 by osak00006
Luke 38342
I identified an issue with your sample nfo and it's being resolved for the next release, thanks.
osak00006 12
I identified an issue with your sample nfo and it's being resolved for the next release, thanks. Thanks! Interestingly, it eventually did pick up the movie content, but the custom NFO files never get scraped. What's the issue that's being fixed? Luke 38342
The values inside that the server classifies as settings were not being used, but, only under certain conditions, it won't happen in all cases.
