sualfred 677
Hey there, I've noticed that some videos are transcoded, even if it should be no problem to directly stream it. The web gui is set to 1080p/60. Example of a video with a higher bitrate, which is directly played: Example of a video with a lower bitrate, which is going to be transcoded: I don't get it. Maybe someone can explain it to me.
sualfred 677
Ahh.... found it. If I disable subtitles -> everything is ok.
Solution Luke 37153 Posted November 9, 2016 Solution Share Posted November 9, 2016 Because web browsers do not support the DVDSUB subtitle format. I am sorry that you perceived this as an Emby problem but you probably want to head over to the community of your browser vendor and ask them to support that format. Or obtain text subtitles which the browsers can handle natively.

I have no problem with this behavior. A classic "problem sits in the front of the monitor" case
