Recorded TV Folder structure

I feel like I'm simply missing a check box or something, but is there a way to make recorded TV not record to a show name folder? I'd like the video file to simply reside in a recorded folder without emby adding a subdirectory.

 

On a similar note, can the default naming structure of a recorded show/movie be changed?

Nope and nope.  You have to have separate folders for separate shows because this is how the naming hierarchy in Emby works.
