Gibscreen 0
I'm streaming to Chromecast using the Emby app and Windows based server. Up until about a week ago any of my mkv files with DTS tracks would just convert/transcode to DD 5.1 and that would play through my system no problem. But now all the DTS tracks are downconverting to 2.0. Anyone have any idea what the issue might be? Thanks!
Luke 37340
Hi, nothing should have changed here. Can you please discuss an example? Please provide the information in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks !
ozchef 2
I can't upload server log at the moment I will when I can but this is happening to me when casking to Chromecast. It use to play the file direct except it would transcode code Dolby HD DTS DTS HDMI all to DD5.1. Now video plays stuttering lying if at all and audio is down mixed to 2.0 DD. If file is with only Dolby 5.1 it plays like it use to still.
Luke 37340
I was able to reproduce the downmix to DD 2.1. I have pushed a fix to our Chromecast receiver. To get the fix, simply reboot your Chromecast device and restart the app you're casting from. Thanks.
