stratumorien 8 Posted November 4, 2016 Share Posted November 4, 2016 Live TV was direct playing consistently on my nVidia shield but recently I have noticed stuttering in playback of live TV. Upon inspection I found that it is now transcoding all Live TV streams I use a HDHR running with a Synology 916+ emby server. Have you tried going into the emby app in the app management section and clearing the data and cache. This helped me when I was having problems with direct streaming not working. This helped me when I was having problems with direct streaming not working. I did actually but no luck. What's weird is in the server interface it shows as transcoding but it never actually does.
