bedollandres 1 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Share Posted November 2, 2016 well that's a shame... consider my scenario... when trying to access remotely usually on the networks that I use port 8096 is closed, so I would set the alternate address with a dns service address and with port 80 (I have set up my home router to reroute port 80 to 8096) so in this way I could get access to my Emby server from a locked network. You can add this information to your emby dashboard > advanced > external domain, with the correct port and you should be set. Let me know.
