Emby when you already have your own metadata?

I've got Emby installed and working with Kodi.  I do like it but I use MediaElch to maintain my nfo files and artwork.

 

I not going to re-do everything, so is there "one-click" way to tell Emby you have all your own information already so it doesn't overwrite my current data?  Do you just have to go into "Metadata --> Services & Nfo Settings" and just uncheck everything?  Are there any other settings I'd need to change?

 

Secondary question ... will Emby function correctly with all my current nfo files, or does it need the nfo files it generates in order to function correctly?  The tests I've done so far I've let it generate the metadata, but I'm about ready to add my full directories to Emby once I get the above sorted.

It will work fine with your own metadata, but emby will want to supplement with additional data and save over those files. you can stop by doing what you're doing in services.
