tigrao 18
Emby Server version 3.0.8100.0 includes a new feature called Live TV Stream Sharing. Live TV Stream Sharing If multiple devices play the same channel, Emby can now share a single stream between all of them, keeping your tuners as free as possible. This also allows for more flexible recording padding without creating a conflict. It seems as though this feature does not work with ServerWMC. Would it be possible to incorporate it? Luke 37096
It's only for the built-in live tv, but I thought ServerWMC already had this internally.

tigrao 18
@@tigrao, this has always worked for serverwmc, unless you are running it in dlna mode. I guess that is my problem then. I am using dlna without even knowing it.
krustyreturns 191
You can go to the 'live tv' tab in serverwmc's gui to check if dlna is turned on for emby. If that turns out to not be the problem, post the serverwmc log after trying to start a second stream.
krustyreturns 191
@@Luke, I'm curious how you guys did multiple streams reading the same dlna channel. If there is some code I can look at or someone to ask let me know.
Luke 37096
For now it's just a small in-memory buffer (no file), and as consumers get added, when bytes read from the dlna stream, they are then written to each consumer https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/blob/master/MediaBrowser.Server.Implementations/LiveTv/TunerHosts/HdHomerun/HdHomerunLiveStream.cs#L82
