Video hanging about an hour and 25 minutes into playback using Theater on xbox one

I'm running into a fairly consistent playback issue on the xbox client.  This doesn't happen in desktop versions of ET.  About an hour and 25 minutes into a movie the playback hangs as if paused.  You can't unfreeze without hitting the back button and then resuming play.  Anyone else seeing this?  If not I'll turn on debug logging and see what it says.  The default logs don't show any errors at the time.

I am having a very similar problem here. After approx 1 to 1.5 hours (always between these times), Theater stops playing and just hangs as if paused. Where I think my issue differs from the op is that I have to carry out the following operations to get it playing again..

1. Any playing video hangs about 1 to 1.5 hours in.

2. Press stop on remote control / controller.

3. Press play on remote control / controller.

4. Select option to resume video from last playtime.

5. Video plays to end. I am not sure if it would hang again on a long video as I don't have anything longer than 3 hours to try. Maybe i'll join 2 movies together and see what happens.

Just to update this, it's been pretty consistently between 60 and 90 minutes.  Sometimes it hangs as if paused, other times it behaves like I hit stop and goes back to the movie details page.

I'm bumping my log level now so I can capture something the next time it happens.

I will add this was occurring with me as well last night. Movie stopped playing around 1 hr in and after hitting pause/play a few times it restarted. Freezing started again 20 minutes later and again 10 minutes after that. New Xbox One S and never had any playback issues on my PC or using Nvidia Shield TV. Hopefully this can get resolved soon.

That's not an error, at least not from the server's standpoint. That just means the client on the other end of the connection decided to hang up for whatever reason. Try setting the in-app bitrate setting to a really low value and see if it persists.

I set the bitrate to 25Mbps in the xbox client and played back a HD movie without any significant issues.  I had one very brief stutter but no big freezes.  My movies are generally around 15-20Mbps so setting this value down should really trigger much transcoding, if any so I can live with it.  Just wonder why setting it to Auto would cause this if I'm playing the same video stream in both cases.
