I can't get it to work with the EMBY Web client or the android app. When I try to cast a video, it doesn't play. When I cast the tab, it does play, but I have to keep the tab open. See log file attached. When I look at the logs, I only see when I successfully watch and cast the tab. I do not see any errors when I just to cast the show from the web client. Luke 37065 Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 make sure you're connecting to emby server with an address that chromecast can use to reach your server. chromecast does not support name resolution so you'll want to connect by ip address.
