Current show not in "Next Up" and doesn't play via amazon fire

Just started watching 24 with my Fiancee, we are 4 episodes in but it doesn't appear in the "Next Up" section. I've tried selecting the whole show as "played" and then "unplayed" and then selecting the first 4 as "played" but still doesn't appear. They do however appear in "In-Progress Episodes" in Kodi.

The next episode of 24 (ep5) doesn't play via amazon fire tv but does via the web browser and obviously through Kodi too.

 

Wasn't sure where to put this as it's different on a few devices but I think it's mainly a library issue??

 

Can anyone tell me whats wrong or where to start looking?
