dansblackcat 37 Posted September 20, 2016 Share Posted September 20, 2016 Hi all. I have a PVR set top box that runs Android 4.4.2. I'm running Emby for Android on it and the only thing I can't get working is the surround sound. Almost all of my files would be AC3. The Emby app plays everything in 2.0 channel audio. The server dashboard shows the media as being 'Direct Play' so I assume it's not transcoding? If I choose to use an external player and launch the Kodi app then I get 5.1. I'd rather just use Emby instead of jumping between apps. Is there a way to do HDMI Pass-through to get 5.1 or is it a limitation of the app? I've tried Emby for Android TV but it doesn't support 4.4.2, only 5.0+. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
