3D Question regarding my setup

(General question, not tied to Emby)

 

Some Information about my (Client) Setup:

- FireTV (1st gen)

- Denon AVR-X1200W

- Epson EH-TW6100 Beamer

 

Software:

- Emby FireTV/Android App

and as the App seems to not support 3D at all, (is it planed?) additionally:

- Kodi + Emby Plugin

 

 

I heard some devices can detect 3D input and automatically turn on their 3D function, but most of the time that works only for "Frame Packing".

From what I read, both, the receiver and the beamer support HSBS and HTAB as well as FramePacking.

 

Playing a 3D HSBS movie with Kodi displays only works if I manually enable 3D and SBS on the beamer.

 

Is there a way to signal the receiver / beamer that there is 3D content? Or to "convert" from SBS to FramePacking, so that the beamer might detect it?

Or anything else I could look into?
