2015 Sony Bravia Profiles

I searched and could not find any info on this. I have a KDL-50W800C Sony Bravia. I am having an issue where most mkv's are being transcoded and some just fail to play. This issue has only shown up about a month or so ago, even with movies I have watched before now failing to play. I know they streamed direct before. My work around for these movies is to stream them using my phone and connecting to google cast on the tv. 

 

I am on Version 3.1.6100.23091 dev.  I saw there is no profile for 2015 Bravia's under dlna. I am assuming if there was a proper profile it would be using the direct play settings on the profile to see what the TV can support correct? I am assuming this is the cause of my problems.  I primarily use the andorid tv app. I signed up for the beta android tv version as well and still have this issue. I would love any help trying to get this sorted out as the android tv app on our tv is the main source of our home. Thank you!

If you are using the app, then the DLNA profiles are inconsequential.

 

Can you please do the following:

 

1) Turn on "debug options" in the app

2) Play something that has the problem

3) Go immediately back to the home screen and use the "Send Logs" button

4) Come back here and tell me:

• what you played
• what time you sent the log
• the name of the Emby user that was logged in
• paste in the media info from the web client for this item
