I assume xboxone and win10 store apps will auto update? Also where do I find the version of ET that I am running so it can be compare to latest? So now to see if I have the latest version, I have to run the app, play something in it. Remotely connect to the server and look at the control panel to see what the version is. Considering the App rarely updates automatically for me, it will just be easier to reinstall it every time I want to use it. Or just go back to the more reliable Web Client. Sigh... I think Luke's reasoning is that most of the updates pretty much happen in real time, so version numbers are a little redundant. Having said that, being the control freak I am. Will just go back to the Web Client that ships with the Server. It always works. No one else in the family like Theater because of the horizontal scrolling on the PC. I can clone projects using both the Github Desktop and command line without problem. Composer for PHP and Node also work without problems. No other Electron based app has problems updating either.
