lunix33 0
Hello, I'm currently running the latest available version of emby-server (3.0.6400 (reported by aptitude)) from the official PPA. But since I've done the last update I've got a lot of crashes related to unhanded C# exception. (reported by log file (see the end of lastlog.log)) I've rebooted the server to be sure it wasn't a old version of mono still in the memory, and restarted the process several times (sudo service emby-server restart) But the problem persist, I hope my log will help to resolve this issue. lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 8.5 (jessie) Release: 8.5 Codename: jessie My server run on a MDADM Raid 6 Array (+ OS SSD). If more information are needed don't hesitate to ask. lastlog.log

lunix33 0
Thanks for the quick reply, I've identified the "space" problem, It seem like emby-server is using over 100GB of space with the `sync` folder, Is it an essential folder and is there a way to move it out off my OS SSD to my Raid Array ? Currently here is my emby path configuration: Cache:/mnt/array/emby/cache Logs:/var/lib/emby-server/logs Metadata:/mnt/array/emby/metadata Transcoding temporary files:/mnt/array/emby/transcoding-temp Will I need to relay on symlink to change the path of this folder ? Luke 37095
Yes. Check sync settings to change the path, although it will not move existing files.
lunix33 0
But still is it safe to delete the current folder ? I've deleted the sync folder and added the new path into the sync settings. I'll see if everything get back to normal. Thank you for the answer. Luke 37095
Just curious, what are you syncing to? Did you delete temporary sync files, or sync output from the folder sync plugin?
lunix33 0
Exactly what was syncing, I don't know since I don't recall myself using the sync feature yet. (But maybe the other members of my family which are using Emby with me are using the sync feature) The exact folder I've deleted was : /var/lib/emby-server/sync This folder was containing two other folder with name like GUID which were about 50GB each. And I don't have any sync plugin.
