chiefnerd 18
I just wanted to purge all devices out because of duplication and just wanted check to see where Emby stores it's default devices (One's with preset playback settings). To purge I was just going to delete all devices from the /var/lib/emby-server/data/devices folder then restart Emby to repopulate the devices opposed to trying to delete them from the list and confirming each one but I don't want to delete any of the preset devices by mistake. Anyone see a problem doing it this way before I muck up my server?
dcrdev 251
I've just rebuilt my server so am in the position of having very few devices registered at the moment - examining each device.json file, I can confirm that none of them are default devices as you put it. chiefnerd 18
As long as none of the defaults are in there then all should be good in the hood. I'll pop a note back here once done in case anyone else is pondering cleaning up their device list en masse
