iBoss 23
Hi, I have a DVD iso file. when I try to play it, it give an error "There was an error playing the video" I believe the error because mount/sudo the server: Ubuntu 12 emby server version 3.1.127.0 Thanks server-63608077583.txt
Luke 37097
Hi, this isn't supported in the web interface. We will adjust the error message. For the web interface, you need to use plain video files. Dvd folder rips and iso's are only supported in apps that have native support for them. iBoss 23
you mean it will work with Kodi, right? OK, will it work if I mount the iso file to folder and then add this folder as library? Thanks Edited August 30, 2016 by iBoss
Luke 37097
For streaming, folder rips are also expiremental. Try it, but for best results consider plain video files.
iBoss 23
My understanding of rips is convert original files (VIDEO_TS) to plain video file (mp4, avi, etc ...).But your answer seems you mean by folder rips is VIDEO_TS folder, am I right?I have Synolog server with emby that has a lot of VIDEO_TS folders and all work perfectly.I'll try to mount this iso and add it to library.I'll let you know the result. Thanks Luke Edited August 30, 2016 by iBoss
