You did restart the server after naming these profile changes correct?

Only other thing I can thinks of is the HTTP Header is overriding the other data in detection (just a guess).  You could try removing the that info to see if it makes a difference.  I know there is a post around here that a user was able to do this with two profiles.

restart? lol...no, i did not...can't believe i forgot to try a restart. i'll try it now and see how it goes.

EDIT:  now, i have a little problem.  my samsung tv is not seeing the dlna service.  this was before the changes were made. i saw the Play To before any changes were made, it just disappeared -- on both TVs. lol...not lucky at all.

finally, DLNA has come back on/detected again.  i'm on freenas, so i restarted the server after changes were made; but, i was wondering how does one go about changing the http header when it cannot be deleted.  i know i can create a new header, but not sure if that'll correct the problem that i'm having right now.

I see the issue. You can delete them, you just can't see the button, but it's on the right side of the list item with each header. i will resolve this for the next release of emby server. thanks.

alrighty!!! thx to happy2play and luke, i managed to solve my dlna issues between the 2 tvs.  as per happy's "guess," it's the http header that was overriding the other data.  after deleting the http header per luke's instructions, was able to add a new http header with:

USER-AGENT=DLNADOC/1.50 SEC_HHP_[TV] My TV/1.0 UPnP/1.0 for my tv (see screen shot below)

584787fe92108_emby_dlna_profile_setting.

and, USER-AGENT=DLNADOC/1.50 SEC_HHP_[TV] Living room/1.0 UPnP/1.0 for the living room tv (see screen shot below)

5847882709e03_emby_dlna_profile_setting_

the living room tv is able to access what it is permitted to access, and my tv to access all.  hopefully, this will stay as is for a long time.  thx to all that helped, chimed in, and just came to read. hope this will help others, as it definitely helped me.  :D  :D  :D
