essjay 3 Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Hi guys, Is there any way to set up the Fire TV Emby app so that it only transcodes as a last option? For most of my big media I'll have multiple audio tracks. Can the Emby app go through the audio tracks to find one it doesn't need to transcode? When watching myself I'll use the HTPC/ET but for the kids I'm happy for a "lesser" audio track. thanks.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ebr 14960 Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 It already prefers direct to transcoding whenever possible. For audio selection, it will use the audio preference settings in conjunction with the flags on the tracks themselves. When it comes across a DTS or HD audio track for the first time will it attempt to transcode unless I manually set something on the server?
