rmarcuse 4 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Hi, First of all excellent job with Emby-Theater it is developing nicely. After installing 2.5.3 I noticed that when I pause or minimize the app it freezes and I have to do a CtrlAltDel, close the app and restart it but it continues to freeze when I pause it. I have included my last two server logs, and theater logs. Thanks for your help. server-63604487292.txt server-63604487468.txt theater-63604774765.txt theater-63604774902.txt

rmarcuse 4 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 The new desktop features are awesome in emby theater. This product is really coming along thank you for all your hard work.
Luke 38979 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Thank you, glad to hear it. In TV mode there are a lot more hardware accelerated animations. Maybe it's causing some type of crash with your video drivers.
rmarcuse 4 Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 By hardware animations do you mean that there are more visual animations because I haven't noticed them, or do you mean just hardware affects?
the1poet 5 Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 I changed to desktop mode in emby theater and its stopped freezing up for now. I'll keep posting about if it changes. This fixed my issue with this version as well.
ABNParatrooper 6 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I have this same issue, switching to desktop mode fixed it. As much as that made the issue go away, I don't like accepting that as a solution. The desktop mode experience is not the same as the other mode. I like that feature where just hovering automatically expanded the options. Is this a W10 issue, or can anyone confirm they are having this or not on other Windows versions? I will do some testing like turning off hardware acceleration etc and see what happens.
