Hi I've just installed the beta to test on my Lenovo tab 2 and I can't change the sync folder location in settings. I get a Java error in the log as well.

I've just tried the public stable and it's still doing it in that. I just upgraded to premiere to take advantage of sync as I'm going away Saturday. If I can't get it working can I get a refund please?

We're looking into it, thanks.

I've pushed 2.7.21 to the open beta. Please try that. It should be available within a couple hours. Thanks.

Ok so I can pick a directory now but it doesn't seem to have permissions:

In kit Kat there is only one certain directory on the SD cards that the app is going to have access to. Let me see if I can dig that up.

So in Kitkat, the app's designated folder for SD card storage is

/Android/data/com.mb.android

(Starting from the root of the SD card). Anything else will throw a permissions error. Of course beginning with Lollipop this all resolved as we're using the newer storage access framework that lets you write anywhere you want.
