Jack Burton 94 Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Not sure what was changed in recent updates, whether it was a Theatre update or Server, or both, but things are really snappy! Load times are significantly faster for me, and that was my biggest gripe with my setup. I tried a bunch of fixes and finally narrowed things down to a low end PC and having my media on external drives, and figured it's just the way things are gonna be. Booted up Theatre 2 days ago and wow, things have really sped up! My previous Theatre and Server experience would take generally 5-8 minutes for everything to load. Boot up Theatre, wait on blank screen with widget outlines. Spotlight, All Shows and Favorites art loads. Continue watching, next up, etc loads. Move to TV. Wait again. All artwork loads, can finally start watching. Now, when I boot up Theatre, the entire Movies section loads almost instantly. Move to TV and it takes less than a minute!
