GhostRider 46
Hi Could Emby Theater have an update to display a movie's subtitle details the same way that Emby for WMC does? Emby WMC shows subtitle details like eng, ENG where eng is the language and if in capitals it is forced e.g. ENG means forced subtitle in English. Forced subtitles information works in Emby for WMC whether embedded in MKV file or the subtitles are external (and forced with .eng.forced filename suffix). I find this feature very useful as a prompt for me to turn on subtitles in my external player (it does not pick up forced subtitles by default). I have migrated to Windows 10 and Emby Theater and I miss the lack of subtitle info. Many thanks Edited July 6, 2016 by GhostRider
Luke 37095
can you show a screenshot of what you're looking for? thanks.
GhostRider 46
Yes - I have one PC left on Windows 7, just installed Emby for WMC - screen shot as below. I think this a feature Ebr added to Emby for WMC. The subs text info has eng, eng, ENG meaning three different subtitles, all in English one of which is forced. Luke 37095
I modeled the CC icon after netflix. The problem with the above is what happens when a video has a dozen different subtitles. It ends up not looking so great.
GhostRider 46
Could the CC icon be a different color if any forced subtitles are present? That's all I need, just a prompt that a forced subtitle is present so I can turn on the subtitle in my external player. Without a prompt I get part way though then come to a part too late that should have subtitles. Just started watching Game of Thrones and took me a few episodes before I realized that there were some forced subtitles .
