efigalaxie 2 Posted July 2, 2016 Share Posted July 2, 2016 What is the best bang for the buck right now? I see r710 machines for $200 - $300 now. XPS8900 machines for $600 up. At any one time, there may be 4 streams or so . 1 may be going out, the rest may be local. What is it most critical?? CPU, Memory....?? I like to keep my data separate. that machine would have to be very expensive to replace my 6 NAS boxes currently in use. 14TB/28TB Raid1/No Raid. What recommendations can I get for going forward???
