Lock Out Recording During Specific Time Periods

We have an Emby server with one HD Home Run tuner connected to it.  

 

We have lots of television programs that we record every day and night for viewing when we have time. 

 

I have the programs that we wish to be recorded stored in the "Live TV Series" portion of the Emby software. 

 

Each program is set to record "Daily at any Time".   

 

About the only thing that we watch Live is local news at 7 - 8 AM, 5 - 6:30 PM and 10 - 11 PM. 

 

Would it be possible to include a feature in the Emby Server software to allow us to tell the server to to lock out specific time periods to keep it from recording television programs that it may find in the schedules, such as the ones in the above time periods?

 

Current, if the Emby software finds a program to record during those time periods, we cannot view the local news live during the local time period -  as we are locked out of the HDHR tuner.

 

We are certainly willing to lose any future recordings during those time periods in order to view the news live during those time periods.
