TheRealWargazm 5
Hi all. I upgraded my server to Windows 10. For whatever reason this caused my Kodi Emby installs on my FireTV to break, I couldn't play anything off the server. No big deal, I simply wiped Kodi and installed Emby from scratch. Except that once Emby was reinstalled and connected to the servers, I saw that it had set every single one of my movies and TV Show episodes to "Watched." (Opening the Emby Web interface confirms that the watched flag has been set for all files; it's not just a Kodi bug) Is there any way to recover the watched status for my files? This is really quite irritating. Thanks.

TheRealWargazm 5
Yes, NFOs are saved locally, next to the files.
TheRealWargazm 5
the NFOs all have <watched>true</watched> in them
Angelblue05 4130
If you open them, do they contain the right watch status? Or are they all marked as watched? It's weird behavior for sure to have everything marked as watched by default - unless your nfo are all marked as watched. Edit: just saw your latest post - Then no there's nothing you can really do except going thru the process manually. TheRealWargazm 5
Ugh. That's a bummer. What could have happened? Any way to debug? I'd be willing to look at server logs if I can help pinpoint a bug.
Angelblue05 4130
Emby for Kodi doesn't touch/read any files directly - it communicates with the server via the api. I'd suggest posting here: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/53-windowsgeneral/ for more help. If you have trouble with emby for Kodi, I'll be able to help you.
