alscritter 0
Hello, Would someone be able to assist me with how to watch x265 files. Which settings need to be set or anything else. The video and audio is off and the video goes in and out. I have no problems playing any other file types. emby server Version 3.0.5972.0 latest freenas build. MiniX NEO X8-H with latest firmware If this has been answered somewhere else, I apologize that I did not see it and could you provide a link to the resolution. Thanks, Bill
woodsb02 17
FFmpeg is not compiled with x265 support by default on FreeBSD: http://www.freshports.org/multimedia/ffmpeg Not sure if this also applies to FreeNAS packages? @@josh4trunks will know. We need to update the Emby instructions for FreeBSD to include details on how to enable it: http://emby.media/freebsd-server.html The instructions on that website should re-iterate the message printed when the emby-server package is message. Those instructions can be found here: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/multimedia/emby-server/pkg-message?view=co @@Luke is it possible to update the emby webpage? Jbizzlefosho 1
Just to be clear, if I'm running the Emby plugin in FreeNAS, I need to recompile FFmpeg before I make the move to x265?

Luke 37092
Why don't you first start by describing your problem? If you have a media playback issue, let us know about that. Thanks.
