schmitty 61
I am looking at building a new server. Possibly switching from a mini tower to rack mount. Can anyone offer any suggestions? The main reason why I was thinking of rack mount, is for easy adding/replacing of hdd's (hot swap). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MarcusJ 18
schmitty: I recently had a similar decision to make. I actually ended up keeping the tower and investing in a NAS. I am thrilled with that decision. No more HDD issues. Full redundancy. Sharable on the LAN, or even across the net to anywhere in the world. Good luck to you. How do you go with capacity, if you need to add to it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited June 24, 2016 by schmitty
