GeekndGamer 0 Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Hello everyone, I've just found out an article that talks about Snapcraft : http://lifehacker.com/linux-app-distribution-gets-a-little-easier-with-snap-1782168270 This is an amazing tool for Linux distribution and I would like to know if this is possible to implement emby, many apps are already in store like Transmission,OwnCloud,upnp-server : https://uappexplorer.com/apps?type=snappy&sort=relevance There are some explanations here : http://snapcraft.io/create/ Thanks in advance emby community.
Luke 39667 Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Well, we're already using a similar tool, which is the openSuse build service, which helps us quickly build packages for lots of linux distros, including Ubuntu. Snap does look nice though.
deaerator 2 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I know this is an old thread but very curious if there was any development on making Emby a SNAP Package?
Luke 39667 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Not yet but it's possible for the future. Thanks.
