eric859 1
I have an Xbox360 which I just connected to a new 1080p 3d projector. When I go to play a MKV video through WMC/MB Classic, Microsoft Media Foundation seems to want to transcode it on the server and send over a highly compressed version of my high def mkv video to the Xbox. The Xbox won't play the mkv file natively, so it does need to be transcoded. What I'm wondering is, how do you force Emby to transcode mkv files with lower compression instead of having Emby just handover the transcoding to Microsoft Media Foundation (which I can't seem to configure/tweak). If anyone knows how to configure Media Foundation to force a better picture, I'd also be interested. Thanks! -Eric
