sylvio2000 17
Hi. I have set up my kodi installation with emby and everything works fine. BUT I always manually start my media server with advanced wol (because most time I watch recordings from my pvr and dont need to start the server). The problem is that I always get error messages (when starting kodi) that the emby server is not accessible ...Of course it is not Is it possible to only get the message that Emby server is online and otherwise no message? sylvio2000 17
Am I the only one with this "problem"? I just dont want to see error messages of Kodi if my emby server is offline. There is a setting in emby for kodi. I thought this would be the solution, but it doesnt work: It is called "suppress connection messages" (this is my own translation, I dont know what the exact english term is). What is this option for?
Angelblue05 4130
It suppresses the welcome msg. What you need to do is add a startup delay in the add-on settings > advanced I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sylvio2000 17
Thanks for the info. But I dont know how this could solve my problem. If I delay the startup the message appears a bit later. And if I would enter a very high delay emby for kodi would not recognize that my emby server is wake up (if I manually wol)
