Nucleus 2
I've seen a few web articles about "Emby now available for FireTV" and an article "For FireTV and FireTV Stick", so having the Emby server set up on Windows and working fine from my Android phone, I went to the Amazon store, got the Emby app and synced apps on the FireTV Stick - nothing! And when I look at the app in Amazon Store it shows a red X next to "Compatibility with Your Devices". Have I misunderstood? It's not compatible with FireTV stick? Or why won't it install on my FireTV stick, I even factory reset the stick and when set up again synced Amazon apps - again nothing! Edit: Also just saw this in the Wiki stuff: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Fire%20TV Emby for Fire TV can be installed from the App store on your Fire TV device (Fire TV 1st or 2nd gen or Fire TV Stick) or you can push it to your device from the Amazon Store. Two screenshots of Amazon apps (note the red cross in second screenshot)... Edited May 18, 2016 by Nucleus

Solution Nucleus 2 Posted May 18, 2016 Author Solution Share Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) What version of FireOS is your stick running? Did you not update it to 5.x? Software Version: Fire OS 5.0.5 (537174420) @@maximus1 - As mentioned, I even factory reset the stick, went to "About" and installed the software update, stick restarted and did the optimizing storage thing, went to "My Account" and synced Amazon content - still nothing? Edit: Fixed. Re-synced Amazon content then restarted stick, Emby showed in Apps Library, clicked it, installed and running now - trial mode. Cheers.
