One File Skipping - Works Fine On Local Network (App+Web)

Hello,

I have one video file that plays fine on the local network both in the app or through a desktop web browser, but is not playable when outside my local network whether it be through the app or a web browser - it automatically starts to play the next file instead which plays fine externally. When playing locally through the app it seems like a direct stream (no cpu usage changes), when playing locally through my desktop browser it will remux this file but not transcode. When playing externally it tries to transcode which makes sense since it's a very large file, however the file that plays after it that does play fine is not transcoded when playing externally. It is a lot smaller, but the file before it is also large and plays fine (transcodes).

I have attached the snippet of server log when attempting to play this file externally through the app as well as the transcode log. I read through the log from the app and it doesn't seem to provide any useful information but I can provide that if needed; similarly if I need to provide more logging I can also do that. File information (permissions, size, media info) inside spoiler.

Server Version: 3.0.5934.0 (also didn't work with 3.0.5931.0 and earlier)

App Version: 2.6.64

Hi Luke,

The result is different - it played no problem! The app version after signing up for open beta and upgrading was 2.6.70.

Thanks for the report. I'm actually surprised since you said there was also a problem on the web player, but still glad to hear it.

I tried the web player again and it's working. Either an update between 5931 and 5934 fixed it, or my external source was not very reliable. :) Tested it myself using my phone as a hotspot since I'm not external today.
