Emby LIVE TV - Recording creates multiple small files

It was like this when converting to MKV was first added and was fixed, but happening in DEV and Stable.

 

I guess it's in Beta as well, but I don't currently have Beta installe to test with.

 

Hopefully @Luke/@ebr can fix it again

@@Kent and others I can't reproduce this but I'm going to increase the ffmpeg analyze duration on the recording stream. we'll see if that helps make a difference, thanks.

Thanks Luke. I'm on FreeNAS so a version or two behind but let me know when i should rerun Live TV recordings and post logs.  As of now i can't use Live TV recordings on Version 3.0.8300.0 .

I recorded few episodes of Seinfeld yesterday now I have over 1 thousand episodes. My pc currently is not fast enough for transcoding so all those settings are disabled. There are number of issues with the files some haven't recorded fully the Fatigues and the Checks it is a 5 hour episode which is clearly incorrect running time this has appeared few times that incorrect running time is recorded. 

 

Edit: The Checks it is showing correct recording length in emby it is only not showing correctly in explorer. The fatigues episode it is only showing 26 minutes but should be 43 with padding.

I had a similar issue last night when one of my MP4 recordings was split into multiple files again, most of which were 0Kb in size !!

 

Another recording worked fine though !!

I'm having trouble playing anything via Emby Live TV at the moment on my Shield TV.

 

Getting the message: Cannot play this video format.

 

Works fine with the HDHomeRun app on my Shield.

 

Will post a server log shortly.
