Posted this at first in the server forum but the reaction from Luke made me think this will be a MBClassic issue/question.

There is no resume for avchd using mpc as external player. Is that correct or should that just work?
All other media no problem with resume and mpc.

Extra information for this issue.

Watching Lord of the rings and opened in MPC.

MBClassic%20No%20resume%20with%20AVCHD%2

When I stop the video somewhere in the middle of the film I see a resume button.

MBClassic%20No%20resume%20with%20AVCHD%2

But hitting that button just starts the viideo from the beginning again.

MBClassic log

Hope this will be enough info?

That doesn't make any sense as the codec shouldn't matter to us.  But, I need more information. Please read the How to Report a Problem topic.

I have added some extra information. At first this was more off a question if resume should work with that format. Now I know.

Happy New Year!

We are sending the proper command to MPC to seek.  If it isn't it may be a problem with it.  Maybe it is not able to seek that file type...

oh right, that's correct - mpc ignores it for bluray folder rips.

Any reason for this?

You'll have to ask the MPC devs but I assume it is not reliably possible.
