DGDG 0
I cant get this to work. I tried before and noting i was thinking maybe with the revised server management page that recently was announced it could fix the problem but i see no new documentation. Can anyone help getting this set up now that the server management pages have changed?
Luke 37099
Hi, what Emby app are you trying to upload from?
Smok@zz 4
@@Luke At the very least i have noticed this isn't working with the android app since a few updates ago Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Luke 37099
Make sure to enable it under sync settings in the android app. that is something new that was introduced a couple months ago. We're moving away from the server-side settings. the server-side settings are only there now to accommodate other apps. Apologies if that causes any confusion. Smok@zz 4
Thanks Luke. It is already enabled and has been for a while. It used to work, then stopped, then an updated android app was pushed out and it work for a little and now it's broken again. Can I provide any logs from Android? If so, I am not sure where they would be. Please let me know how I can help with this. Thank you. Luke 37099
I can't reproduce. I just had photos uploaded the other day for testing. What you can do for testing is take a photo, then go into the app and run the sync manually. Then capture both the app log and server log and post it here: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/15638-how-to-report-an-android-problem/ Thanks. Smok@zz 4
Luke, The screenshot counted as a picture so it would attempt the upload. As a test I turned off the upload, saved, then turned it back on. Sure enough it started to upload all the backlogged photos. Not sure if this will help everyone but it's good enough for me. Thanks!
