Can't add item to playlist when in a different playlist

Here is my problem. I have a playlist (1) with about 100 songs. I am trying to create a playlist (2) with songs from that playlist (1), but when I am viewing the songs in playlist 1 I click the options button (3 dots) for that song there is no option to add that song to a playlist. So what I have to is click options>open (then the "song details" page opens) then I click options>add to playlist. This is a very time consuming and round-about way to add songs from one playlist to another. Is it possible to add the "add to playlist" option to songs in a playlist?
