tobedeleted 4
Currently, Emby seems to create its own folder structure when syncing to the Android device. It does only partially respect the source folder structure. This leads to the following problem: I sync photos, which are structured in folders year/month/pictures.Jpg. Syncing them to Android completely ignores the "year" folder hierarchy and only uses the "month" level, which obviously leads to confusion because every year has the same months... Is there a way to work around this problem? Generally, it would be great to have Emby, for every kind of sync, simply use the folder/filename structure as provided by the source. The folder structure created by Emby after a sync is not really human-usable, it seems to be optimized for internal usage.
Luke 37119
The folder structure is perfectly human readable, in my opinion. You get names of series and names of artists and albums. Photos might be the one area that needs improvement.
tobedeleted 4
Also the schema completely fails for home videos which are not tagged in any way, here Emby seems to create one subfolder per video file. It really would be great to have some option to tell Emby not to try to be intelligent about the directory structure, but simply accept it as it is.
