devlin016 2
My Emby server is running the latest stable version on a ubuntu server machine works great in web ui everything shows up with metadata but when I install the emby plugin into kodi and configure it it syncs all my tv shows but they show up as empty. I have messed around with this for hours and I cant figure out the problem its very frustrating. I wanted to buy a lifetime premier subscription to help this project sense im coming from plex and this works way better. But I need to solve why my tv shows arent syncing. xnappo 1593
Please see the 'How to report a problem' thread. Just to make sure - if you go into Video->Video Addons->Emby it is empty there too? xnappo P.S. This project is not part of the 'official' Emby project, so while we all like and support Emby, if you want to help out Emby for Kodi contribute to one of the devs with a donate button as well. devlin016 2
I did read the how to report a problem thread as I was trying to find log locations but it only mentioned windows locations. Which log would you like kodi log or emby server log? and yes when i go to the emby plugin in kodi it shows up empty as well but the weird thing is when it builds the library for the first time after configuration in the progress bar i can see names of the tv episodes going by. thanks for the heads up about donate button. Please see the 'How to report a problem' thread. Just to make sure - if you go into Video->Video Addons->Emby it is empty there too? xnappo P.S. xnappo 1593
The Kodi log. Log for this line: Otherwise, if you are using Kodi on a different operating system, check the Kodi wiki to find the location of the log file. You definitely looked under Video->Video Addons->Emby and it was not there right? Edited April 3, 2016 by xnappo

devlin016 2
yes the emby plugin is installed into kodi successfully the plugin loads lets me configure it and enter it but when I choose a category like tv it shows up as empty. my kodi log doesnt say anything about the emby plugin even know i switched the logging setting to debug in the emby plugin config. 14:33:04 T:140042431174656 NOTICE: special://profile/ is mapped to: special://masterprofile/ 14:33:04 T:140042431174656 NOTICE: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 14:33:04 T:140042431174656 NOTICE: Starting Kodi (16.0 Git:a5f3a99). xnappo 1593
That must not be a full log. Open Kodi, let it sit for 5 minutes, then close it. xnappo
devlin016 2
I found out kodi wasnt logging plugins because of '<loglevel hide="true">-1</loglevel>' being in my advancesettings.xml. but I have my full kodi log now its huge in size its 21mb so I uploaded it to my cdn. I recommend just downloading it instead of trying to view it in a browser. I had to change file type because my htaccess configuration prevents .log files from being viewed. http://cdn.devlin016.net/kodi.txt That must not be a full log. xnappo 1593
Sorry, but as the 'How to report a problem' thread says, please set the log to INFO not debug. Debug is huge and has info not needed for this issue.
devlin016 2
everytime i try to post my log it doesnt post i get a http 500 error. i dont know what im exactly suppose to do here but this is incredibly frustrating... is my log to big to post even when its set to info? I uploaded my kodi log set to info to my cdn. hopefully this gets to someone. Im incredibly frustrated with all this. http://cdn.devlin016.net/kodi.txt Edited April 15, 2016 by devlin016
im85288 1493
The problem is that it is missing some libraries for HTTPS on the platform your using. Try it without https, or on a different platform.
