Feature request: working back button on external webviews

Occasionally I'll be led to an external link from Emby (for example, blog posts for new versions.) The content displays fine in the webview, but the back button doesn't work. It's impossible to get back to your Emby server from within the app once you've viewed external content. The user must close the app entirely, reopen it, and navigate back to their previous location manually.

 

This could be addressed a few different ways:

 

* Implement back button functionality

* Launch third-party URIs in the browser

* Display external sites in a modal web-view, on top of the app, that can be closed.

 

Pretty minor issue, I just wanted to point it out.

 

I use the latest beta release on Kit Kat. (I know, pretty outdated.)

It's supposed to just open in the browser but I think not all links are currently doing that
